Deep cleaning
Deep cleaning is an essential part of office cleaning, commercial cleaning, retail cleaning

and domestic cleaning programs. It gets the dirt which builds up deep down in fabrics such as carpets and upholstery. This necessitates special techniques, vacuuming alone will not be enough. All of our London cleaners are fully trained and highly proficient in all of these techniques, so you can be sure of receiving a quality service.
The most common of the deep cleaning techniques is steam cleaning. Actually, hot water extraction is its proper name and is more apt. That is because it is the hot water, along with a detergent which is applied to the carpet at high pressure which actually does the cleaning, not the steam. The steam is merely a by-product of the hot water. The water is then extracted of course so that your carpet is not soaked, and left to dry completely.
Even if a carpet is vacuumed every day a deep cleaning techniques will be necessary as part of a thorough office cleaning program.

The deep cleaning need not be carried out as often as normal cleaning procedures however, every few months will be sufficient. If your carpet has not been deep cleaned in over a year however, you will certainly notice the difference when the method is applied. It is usually very difficult to notice the gradual build up of dirt below the surface, however when it is removed the true colour of the carpet returns and it is very clear why the cleaning method was needed.
As already mentioned, steam cleaning is only one of the deep cleaning methods in which our professional cleaners are proficient. There is a need for additional techniques because certain delicate carpets, rugs and upholstery do not cope well with copious amounts of water and so need to be treated in such a way that is relatively dry. For carpets, this is called the dry carpet cleaning technique.
As with “steam cleaning,” the name does not entirely accurately sum up what it is about. Although in comparison it is a great deal drier than hot water extraction, it is not entirely without moisture as this is necessary for the cleaning products to work. The area will be sprayed lightly therefore, before the application of the powder or granules to the carpet which will do the cleaning work. After this has been done it will be left for a little while to be allowed time to work, and then the whole lot will be vacuumed up, dirt and all. Our professional cleaners will know the correct variables for all of these procedures.
Upholstery is different again, and often requires special chemicals, all non-toxic and environmentally friendly, in order to achieve the deep cleaning results. Whatever is being cleaned however, it will be a noticeable difference and you will see why no office cleaning program would be complete without it.
