Deep cleaning comes in a variety of forms, and our professional cleaners will know exactly which one to use for your carpets and upholstery.  With steam cleaning, the carpet is washed with hot water and shampoo, and applied to the carpet at high pressure.  Our London cleaners have the experience and expertise to be able to judge the temperature the water should be at and the pressure at which it should come out at in order to achieve the best results, while also making sure that your carpet does not come to any harm.

For some carpets and rugs however, the problem is the high volume of water which is used.  They don't respond well to getting overly wet so, just as with clothes which should not be washed with water, there is a dry carpet cleaning technique as well.  Instead of using chemicals however, powder, granules or foam is used on the carpet in order to clean it.  Again, as with the dry cleaning of clothes, this does not mean that they will not get wet at all, just that it is a lot drier than using water.  For carpets, this means that they will be sprayed all over, lightly, in order to make them moist.  Then, when the powder or granules are sprinkled on top, they can get to work.  This is all left for a certain period of time before the granules or powder is all hoovered up, bringing up the deep down dirt with it.
